And if you've got older children, you may just need someone to have an eye on them to stop the dining room from becoming a battle zone. Either way, a mama's helper might be your ticket. Usually a 'mother's helper' is younger than a babysitter hired to watch the kids during the time that you're out. A mama's helper also would in most cases charge less than an average high school baby sitter. This is perfect for at-home, part-time help.
You can always start your own part time daycare. Turn your pain right to a gain, and look after other people's kids at your home for pay. Most states don't require licensing for casual babysitting of just a few kids, but always check with your state and town to make sure you're fulfilling all requirements. Make certain you have a schedule that remains structured in order to provide dependable service. Giving a safe and fun residence for several kids to remain while their moms and dads are at work may be a perfect alternative to your own family's summer season activities.
