Four Separate Kinds Of Jets You Could Enjoy In Your Backyard Water Fountains
Since you are shopping for backyard fountains, you're probably thinking about what types you will find out there. Well, you can find types that basically are like bird baths, but still circles the water around to stop it from becoming stale. And you can find types that have jets of water coming there. There are certainly many many different kinds of water jets, but here we will discuss four of them specifically.
Fountains with Tiered jets:
- this is where there are multiple tiers of water jets coming from the fountain. There will likely be more than one level to the fountain, occasionally seen with 3 or even 4 bowls each one shooting streams of water into the bowl below it. Of course the last bowl is just to contain the water, and permit it to go back up, and then start the sequence all over again.
A Geyser Fountain:
- this creates an upward stream of water, that typically does not go very high up, and appears a little like white water rapids. This can either be within a fountain, or a backyard water pond also. For the fountain variety they will typically not run very high, and will normally come from the middle of the basin to permit the water to remain inside.
Water Bell Fountains:
- this kind of feature creates what looks like a single wide jet of water that will come up from the middle of the fountain, and tumble outwards into a bell shape created from the water. It essentially has a pretty cool effect, and they are quite familiar in malls and shopping centres. Yet, they do make smaller styles intended for the backyard garden
Domed Water Fountains:
- this type of fountain is a lot like the bell fountain, but that it uses numerous separate jets of water that come from the middle of the fountain and jet up and outwards creating a dome effect with multiple streams of water. Almost similar to a domed cage if you wish.
So there you have it, four different kinds of water jets coming from your backyard fountains. Which one is the one for you? Clearly, only you are able to really settle on that. It really all will depend on what you will enjoy looking at whilst you are in your backyard. Or even the design you want your garden to take on. The breakdown can go on and on. But ultimately, it is truly up to you to decide.
