EBook Reader Review - Finding The Perfect Reader Among The Best Models Offered
eBook readers have revolutionized the way people gather and view books, magazines and news. In this post I assess the top ebook readers existing on the market today.
There are several criteria buyers should study when you review ebook readers. Among the top capabilities to analyze are screen size, screen type, battery longevity, recharge time, storage space, weight, overall size, wireless capabilities, and file types accepted.
In my reviews, I include the Amazon Kindle 2 and Kindle DX, the Barnes and Noble Nook, Sony's Reader Touch PRS-600 and PRS-700, and Astak's EZ Readers. There are many others, and we will evaluate those in time, but my aim is to show the reader a tiny representation with an analysis of capability comparisons so that they can hit the market girded with some basic knowledge about ebook readers.
In my judgment, characteristics like the touchscreen, screen size and type and wireless capabilities should be your foremost consideration when comparing eBook reader models. The second thing to study is the reality that some of the eBook readers have hundreds of thousands of titles out there while other readers can only read a few books. If the above features meet with your satisfaction, then you should ultimately think about price and technical support.
The Kindle and Sony options are placed very well by many online sources. The blend of characteristics on these models and the moderate price point makes them attractive models. All readers feature the E-Ink screen. Only the Kindle and one Atsak model showcase "text-to-speech" to allow the device to read to you. The Sony models have a touch screen for a more interactive user experience. All models have a robust nearly 2 week battery life with various charging times, but nearly all are close to 3 or 4 hours. There are slight variances in the file formats that each ebook model will accept.
